Health, Safety & The Environment

The health, safety and welfare of our employees, partners and those around us are of paramount importance to us. Our aim is to operate a zero harm culture through reinforcement of the highest standards of health and safety. Our continuous improvement programme ensures our team are highly trained, aware of key regulatory changes and have health and safety at the forefront of their minds.

It is also our intention to gain OHSAS 18001 certification, the international management standard for occupational health and safety, during 2016.

We encourage our customers to procure recycled products whenever practical as it’s not only better for their business it’s of huge importance and benefit to the environment.

Our People

Our people are the key to our long-term commercial success. We aim to be an employer of choice in our local community and provide a great place to work. With this in mind we are committed to developing a supportive and respectful culture within the workplace.

We provide a range of training opportunities to develop our people’s skills, actively support self-development and continuous professional development and use staff mentoring and coaching to promote ‘learning while working’.

Community Involvement

We always strive to be a good neighbour and we therefore keep our yard and surrounding areas as clean as they can possibly be.

Giving Back

We support a local hospice that is extremely close to our hearts – The Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. At Bluebell Wood they care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions and do an absolutely amazing job.
